Speyside Way
The Speyside Way follows one of the most famous and beautiful rivers in Scotland, from its mouth on the Moray Firth to the town of Aviemore at the base of the Cairngorm Mountains. Highland Drovers Trail

From Gairlochy on Loch Lochy the route moves in a westerly direction by Loch Garry and Loch Quoich to Loch Hourn, where a boat brings you to Arnisdale. The walk continues by coastal path to Glenelg for the ferry to Kylerhea on Skye. At this point in former times cattle were forced to swim over to the mainland! The trail continues by coastal path to the village of Sleat.

Cateran Trail
This trail is named after the bands of ferocious outlaws known as caterans, who roamed through the Highlands during the Middle Ages stealing cattle and making life uncomfortable for the hardy clansmen who lived in this wild and beautiful country. The trail explores the glens, in a circular walk starting from Blairgowrie, following the routes taken by the caterans and the stolen cattle. The countryside is a perfect blend of rounded hills, rugged heather-clad mountains, wooded valleys and fast flowing rivers.

The Great Glen Way

This trail mainly follows the Caledonian Canal, connecting the great lochs Ness, Oich and Lochy, forming the Great Glen, which cuts diagonally through the Scottish Highlands. Much of the trail entails easy walking along the towpath; detours are made to walk by loch shore and over open moorland providing variety in the midst of stunning scenery.

St. Cuthberts Way

From the lovely town of Melrose the trail leads out over the heather clad Eildon Hills and along the river Tweed to the picturesque ruin of Dryburgh Abbey. It continues along the old Roman road "Dere Street" and over the river Teviot to the border towns of Jedburgh and Kirk Yetholm in the Cheviot Hills. St. Cuthbert’s Cave is visited before descending to the spectacular Island of Lindisfarne.
