Sedbergh- Yorkshire Dales

Whitby- North Yorkshire Moors

Selworthy - Exmoor

The Herriot Way -Yorkshire Dales

The Dales, packed with history, heritage and glorious countryside, now made more famous with the tales about a country vet in "All Creatures Great & Small", are a fascinating environment to discover on foot. The circular trail takes you down Wensleydale and over into Swaledale, visiting Reeth and Keld. The return is made to Hawes in Wensleydale via Great Shunner Fell, offering outstanding views of the two famous dales below.

The Tarka Trail

This circular trail is based on the fabled wanderings of the beloved otter ‘Tarka’ created in the works of Henry Williamson. The walking trail meanders through parts of the Exmoor National Park and along the Exmoor and North Devon Heritage Coasts, providing lovely heather moorland, valley and coastal views. Nature lovers will be amazed at the variety of birds and animals to be seen on this walk.
